Re: Sullivan turns down £350m bid...
£25m is a lot to a club that makes a loss, and an owner who is cash poor.

after the share rights issue, the TV money and the tidy profit in the transfer window, why do we need another £25m??

Goose

£25m is a not a lot. The leverage of the club - profits against debt - is okay. All clubs are feeling the pain. Sullivan can be accused of lots of blunders, but this is not a big problem.

He sold Diangana to free up cash for Moyes to buy players. He might need another £25m on top for working capital.

Yes, Sullivan is not as rich as other owners. Herein, lies the problem.

Second lockdown will hopefully be another nail in G&S empire.

Could this all be leading to the reset button being pressed where everything starts from scratch again? No more stupid amounts of money in the game.

They are all starting to feel the pinch. ManU have extended a £100 million on their credit limit. And word from Spain is Barcelona have until the end of January to find 500 million or they will have to declare bankruptcy. So as mad as it seems. £25 million is chicken feed in this game.

Camel you plank, story is why do we suddenly need to borrow £25m?
They’ve just sold £25m worth of players.

RichyP I thought the same thing. How is it not state aid for Spurs? When I brought this up on social media loads of defensive Spurs fans said it's because they can't hold other events at their new stadium due to restrictions. We are losing money from the restrictions as well so why can we not get preferential rates and money as well?

What I don’t understand is how Spurs we’re able/allowed to borrow £175m from the Governments BoE Covid le
Musing scheme? Can’t recall the interest rate but I know it was ridiculously low and definitely lower than the interest Barclays will be charging. If this was a funding facility that was available, as Spurs have demonstrated, why haven’t we, or any other PL club for that matter, borrowed money off the BoE?

I still can't believe people think these cunts are going to sell up anytime soon.

All the time you lot are filling their pockets with renewals in a season you're never going to see a single fucking game & then are happy to be refunded every few weeks is just another way of them mugging you off having made interest on your payments.

They are going nowhere whilst free money is available from the gullible

Absolute non-story.

They borrowed some more money. The leverage is not high. So what?

Re: Sullivan turns down £350m bid...
Of course they don't, but they will 100% sell before then if the right offer comes in. They'll have a number in mind and will sell when someone offers it. Doesn't matter if that's now or 2025.

They limp along like tramps begging in the street, yet refuse to sell up because they await their BIG pay day of 2023.

They have no interest in us other than financial gain

I fucking despise the cunts

Willtell, your comments about brady proves you havent got a fucking clue as to what youre talking about.

You dont attend games and live abroad. Im afraid to say it shows. You havent got a clue about whats going on if you genuinely believe the only problem with brady is shes a woman and earns a million a year. Stick to bragging about your wealth because when it comes to west ham you havent got a fucking clue.
